Harvard Gazette: A Class Open to the World

With today’s evolving technology, many things are now possible that weren’t a few years ago. Michael Sandel brings his live classes to the international community through the power of video chat. His moral and political philosophy course Justice, taught within the walls of Sander’s Theatre at Harvard University, is now an international experience for students from Brazil, Japan, China, and India. These innovations are changing the way students are debating about issues such as solidarity and collective responsibility. The difference in opinion between students is great not only between peers of the same school, but also from their peers across the world. Read about the interactions between students in the Harvard Gazette article here.
